magnetic poetry

we have fridge poetry on our refrigerator here at home, and several people use it to write poems. yet the ones i miss, the ones i most want to read, are meryam's.

when we lived together, i would walk into the kitchen in the morning and always see new poems that she had put together when she was eating breakfast that day.

they were lovely.

let me read you one:
--
give god a song
let him teach you
pick one color
let it cloud the vastness
run on her beach
do not think
but live
---

she is going to kill me for this, but let me read you one more. i can't help it, i love them:
--
may you wake only with eternity
and grow like a brilliant morning
--

see what i mean? i was confronted with little gems like these when i innocently went to the fridge to get milk.
